About	Virginia G. Sherbino DARTMOUTH -- Virginia G. (Kelley) Sherbino, 78, of South Dartmouth, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 1996. She was the widow of Harold A. Sherbino and daughter of the late Thomas L.F. and Anastasia (Chapman) Kelley. She died at Sarah Brayton Nursing Care Center, Fall River. Born and raised in Providence, R.I., she moved to New Bedford in 1954. She was a 1939 summa cum laude graduate of Pembroke College of Brown University and received her masters degree from Bridgewater State College. She was employed by Acushnet Process Company and will long be remembered for her 27 years as a science teacher at New Bedford High School. Mrs. Sherbino was a member of the Catholic Women's Club and held offices in the Pembroke Alumni Association and the New Bedford Educators Association. Survivors include four daughters, Barbara Ann Blanchette of Fort Worth, Texas, Ruth Anna Hewett of Charleston, S.C., Claire Marie Desrosiers of Chepachet, R.I. and Leslie Jean Mathes of South Dartmouth; two sisters, Anastasia Kelley Remington of Bristol, R.I., Sister Francis Thomas, SSJ, Holyoke; 17 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements are by Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
