About	BARAO, Thomas Wayne Of Hingham, passed away on Thursday, March 30, after a brief illness. He was 67. Tom was born and raised in New Bedford where he was a basketball standout at New Bedford High and was named to the Parade Magazine, All-American team. He continued his basketball career at the University of Rhode Island where he also received his Bachelor of Business Administration. In addition to his successful business career in executive search as a financial and technology consultant, Tom relished his time coaching AAU basketball and youth soccer as well as cheering on his children in their many athletic and artistic pursuits. Tom is survived by his wife of 19 years, Amy Dwyer Barao, and their sons, Will and Declan Barao. In addition, Tom leaves behind son, Max Barao of NH, daughter, Maeve Stehle and her husband Ben Stehle of NH, daughter, Meg Barao of Bourne, MA, and daughter, Amy Kullar and her husband Sam Kullar and their son, Jasper Kullar of Bourne, MA. He also leaves his beloved Aunts, Doreen Gonsalves and Patricia Mello of Falmouth, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, 172 Main Street, Hingham, on Tuesday, April 4, at 10:30 am followed by a celebratory reception at South Shore Country Club.
