About	WARWICK, RI — Gary A. Rogers, 62, formerly of Providence, RI and New Bedford, MA, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 after a long illness. He was the beloved son of Beverly M. (Medeiros) Rogers of New Bedford and the late Harry C. Rogers. Born in New Bedford, Gary graduated from New Bedford High School in 1976 and SMU in 1980. He moved to Providence, RI over 30 years ago to be closer to his job at Warwick Poultry. He enjoyed bowling and playing racquetball and loved animals. He is survived by his loving mother; an uncle, Arthur Medeiros and his wife aunt Penny; cousins, Melody Raposa and her husband Tony, Artie Medeiros and Karissa Raposa and her daughter Kassidy; dear friends from Warwick Poultry; close friends, Joyce Silva of New Bedford, Julie Medeiros of Falmouth, Tammi Sousa of Pawtucket, RI, Kelly Thomas of Narragansett, RI, Anita Garbetti of New Bedford and “Billy Boy”. In accordance with his wishes, Gary will be cremated and private arrangements are under the direction of the Donaghy-Hathaway Funeral Home, 465 County St., New Bedford.
