Below is the information along with a link to his obituary. https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/gahanna-oh/steven-jeffers-12405004 Steven Alan Jeffers, age 72, of New Albany, passed away on June 3, 2025 at home after a long courageous battle with cancer. Steve graduated from New Albany High School in 1971 and was married for 52 years to his high school sweetheart, Deborah (Brenning) Jeffers. Steve spent his entire career in the printing industry, working for companies such as Gowe Printing, Xerox American Education Press, Morrison Ink, Continental Ink, and Braden Sutphin Ink. He held many roles over the years, starting on printing presses and then to ultimately selling printing ink. He was active in the community, serving as a New Albany Youth League President and coaching Little League baseball. Steve enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, and especially took pride in caring for his yard—his pride and joy. He loved cheering on his kids through years of sports and school events. He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Brenning) Jeffers; children, Alan (Stefani) Jeffers, Dan (Danielle) Jeffers; grandchildren, Jordan (Logan) Cook, Sydni Jeffers, Danica Jeffers, and Jenna Jeffers; brother-in law Dan (Jackie) Brenning; nieces and nephews, Chris (Nichole) Brenning, Kevin Brenning, and Casey Brenning. He was preceded in death by his mother, Erma Davis; stepfather, Paul Davis; father-in-law, Robert Brenning; and mother-in-law, Doris (King) Brenning. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 10 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Schoedinger Northeast Funeral Home (1051 E Johnstown Rd). A Funeral Service will take place the following day Wednesday, June 11, beginning at 10AM. A burial at Maplewood Cemetery will immediately follow. |
