Kenneth L. Lahrmer, 54, of Co. Rd. 121, Mount Gilead, Ohio died Tuesday, December 23, 2003 after a long and courageous battle with leukemia.
He was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 21, 1949, the son of the late Fred E. Lahrmer, Sr. and Lorna Blind Lahrmer. He graduated from New Albany High School in 1968 prior to serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War (Sep 1969 - Jul 1971). He worked for Core Systems in Mount Gilead and Whirlpool in Marion. Ken was a member of the Centerburg Conservation Club, the National Rifle Association, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and gardening.
