After high school I joined the air force. Spent four years in most of it in Cheyenne, Wyomoing. Did a one year tour in Southeast Asia. Joined the Missouri National Guard in 1983. Spent 6 years in the Missouri and Texas National Guard. Switched over to the Army Reserve in 1988. Became a warrant officer in 1996. Was activated in 1999 for Operation Joint Forge and spent 9 months in Bosnia. Retired in 2000.
