About Me	Like many, I headed off to college, survived freshman year but dropped out due to family health issues. Started to work for Missouri Rogers in Joplin in 1963 working as a clerk in their engineering department. In the next 13 years I moved through several positions within the company, reaching the position of Product Designer. Joined Air Force Reserve in 1966 and was discharged in 1972. Bought my dream car in 1967, a 1966 427 red Corvett. Made mistake and traded it for a 1969 396 Chevell. Got married in 1972 and divorced in 1977. The company that I was working for in Joplin was acquired by Rexnord (Nordberg) in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Moved to Milwaukee in 1978. Left Rexnord in 1984, turning to consulting engineering for three years. Went to work for Telsmith Engineering in 1988. Remarried in 1984. Thanks to my quick thinking wife Mary, I survived a heart attack in 1996. Bought a new set of golf clubs a month after my heart attack, just in case. My stepson Shawn married in 2006, and lives in St Louis. Shawn & Rachel gave us our first grandson in June of 2008, our second grandson was born in March of 2010.
