Roger Lee Hagan

Class of 1965

The Wildcats dedicated the 1964 football season to Bob Anderson. We were undefeated when we went to play Mt. Vernon. We were behind 12-27 at half. Coach Lane came into the locker room and said, “You know what you have to do” and walked out. Mike Grinage was our captain. He got up and rallied us. We won 39-27 and went on to be undefeated and #2 ranked behind Jeff City! There were no playoffs back then.
