About Me	Lived in Northern VA for 20 years where I found my love of emergency medicine. While there I got my nursing degree and paramedic certification. I worked for almost 16 years in the ER at Children's National Medical Center. I also worked part time and volunteered as a paramedic. For almost 15 years I taught emergency medicine at George Washing University which was a lot of fun! I met my husband of 17 years while in NoVa and we had two beautiful children - who are now teenagers. We moved back to Nelson County when my husband retired after 25 years as a paramedic/firefighter in Fairfax. After we moved back in 2002 I "landed" a job as a flight nurse with AirCare 5 in the valley. I love flying and going to work every day!
