While pharmacy manager at Sav-On Drugs, El Toro I led the charge to decertify from the Retail Clerks Union by pharmacists. I helped found the Guild For Professional Pharmacists which went befiore the National Labor Relations Board in Los Angeles and San Jose, California where we were successful in forming our own labor union and decertifying from the rest of the Retail Clerks. I then served as Vice President and Chairman of the board for a couple of years befor quitting at Sav-On and opening my own store in Lake Forest and owned and operated it for 35 years. I had to resign from the union, as I was no longer an employee pharmacist. It was a great experience, I learned a lot and made lifetime friends fro all over the state of California.
