| About Me | I opened my business in 1973 and sold it in 2003. I retired at 53 and moved to Naples FL. After 10 years I got sick and tired of the constant heat and humidity we moved to northern Georgia. I love it here we live right on the lake. We have hills and 4 seasons. I met my wife in Singapore and have traveled all over the world since my retirement. I have been very fortunate and have no complaints. I have been very lucky my best friend was President of Trans National Travel in Boston and every time he had a cancellation he would call me, it got to the point where I had to keep a packed suit case in my car because everything was last minute so I had to be ready to leave the next day. We have traveled all over the world. I was very lucky to have a manager who ran the business like it was hers. Shipping, Payroll and just managed the whole company. She only took 1 vacation in the 30+ years she worked for me. I would beg her to go on vacation and I would pay for it but she never wanted to go. She took 1vacation but that was to go back to Hong Kong because her father died. I was extremely lucky to have her for my manager. I felt so bad because she died in 2005 of Brain cancer. That I really didn't know how to deal with that and affected me very much. She was like family to me. It took some time to get over that. She was so dedicated to me, so that's why I say I have been very fortunate through my life. My wife Julia and I still travel but I needed open heart surgery and a hip replacement so I have slowed down quite a lot. Now I am thinking of buying a bus RV and see the USA and visit all the national parks. I think I have seen everything in the world and now I would like to slow down and see all the places in the USA that I haven't seen. So I can honestly I have been lucky and have very few regrets. I have lived a very full life with the love of my life, Julia. If someone asked me what was my favorite place I have been, I would say South East Asia it's so beautiful there and the people are so friendly. Take Care and be careful these days.
