| About Me | I married not long after high school and had two daughters. We divorced eventually. I re-married in 2004 and now am a grandmother with 2 step grandchildren (from SIL's first marriage) and 4 grandkids who are all my sweeties. I've also held several jobs; driving a paper route while my kids were little so I could be home with them during the day, and then proceeded onto doing a variety of self-employment jobs; doing finish work on boats, painting and papering houses, cleaning houses, etc. Now that I'm getting older, I'm doing less physical work and I've been a shipping department manager and an officer manager, which is my current job. Hubby Lorne & I have a motor home that we travel around in when we can. We have a Bernese Mountain Dog named Sammy (see photo to view him as a pup) and a feisty Maine Coon Cat mix named Triton. We recently moved to Chatham, (where I lived for most of my adult life) and we are enjoying our new home, nestled in the woods at the side of a pond. My job is currently just a part-time job, so I have plenty of time to play with the grandkids and. hike with Sammy down the many trails in the woods. I do a little reading & knitting, and a little cooking and housework.... life is good. :-) EDIT: I divorced for the 2nd time in December of 2011; it was a shock and a very sad time, but I've moved on and I'm content with my new life with Sammy the Bernese Mountain Dog and Triton the Cat.
