I started in the Army with a year in the Reserves. Then in the Navy until I retired. Served as a Army MP in Korea and Germany as well in the states. In the USN I was a gunner's mate and served mostly in Japan with shore duty in San Diego. I retired in Bremerton WA.

Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, worked on C-5A Galaxy aircraft at Dover AFB, DE. Worked in the control center, on a preflight team, then as a crew member on tail #9006. Later worked in training office scheduling classes and managing the weight control program.

The first eight years I was a B-52 crew chief stationed in North Carolina and Guam. Then I was a C-5 crew chief for seven years. I then cross trained and became a flight engineer on the C-123, C-130 and KC-10 aircraft. We all need to do our part in a positive way for this the greatest contry on earth and I would do it all over again! It gave me direction.
