About	While in High School Rick had a passion for Cars and was a member of and friends with several car clubs. Joined the Army in 1960, became a member 82 Airborne division. On returning to Casper he joined the Air National Guard , He never lost his Passion for Hot Rods, Cars and Drag Racing. Whicn lead him to his Business, and he began and ran Ricks Rod Shop for the last 43 years. His vast knowledge of cars and their components astounded many. He was a founding Member of the Wyoming Hot Rod Association and belonged to several other car clubs throughout the country. He was a member of the Patriot Guard and the American Legion Riders. In 2016 he met a classmate Roxana (Selby) Taylor from his past and they shared their lives together until his passing.

Sometimes you get a second chance at happiness and it makes up for the sorrows of the past. Rick was a man of integrity in his business and with his friends, a true patriot to his country with the 82nd airborne with whom he served. You never saw him without his hat. He passed away June 2, 2022
