About Me	Like half our class, I went to UMass/Amherst (for a year and a half) and then life took a turn. My parents divorced, my dad remarried, and I moved into Boston, working at various places until I got a job as a legal secretary. I realized I didn't want to type other people's letters for the rest of my life, so I went back to school and got my degree, graduating summa cum laude from Suffolk University while working full time. Then I moved to Washington, DC to get my graduate degree and got a job using that degree working for a government contractor supporting a division of the Air Force based at the Pentagon. I met my husband, who moved back home to the Kansas City area after getting out of the Navy, and because he has custody of his three children, I moved West - did you know people really do live in the flyover states? I swear! I got a temporary job in a law firm until I was able to find a position with the same contracting company I was with in DC, and now I work for the Army at Ft. Leavenworth.
