He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and served his country for over 20 years as a jet mechanic. He was flown all over the world reparing airplanes. Manny was my neighbor and a great friend. I have been working with him on his poetry book before his passing this year. He is also published in Castrated Hearts , voices of Military Veterans.
