I was drafted into the Army soon after I graduated from Ohio University in 1968. My Basic Training was at Ft. Dix, New Jersey and Advanced Individual Training was at Ft. Gordon, Georgia. I served as a Military Policeman at the Provost Marshall's Office in Ft. George G. Mead, Maryland, until I was honorably discharged to attend law school at the University of Arizona College of Law in 1970.

Honorably retired Master Sergeant with over 22 years on active duty. Served as a Dental Laboratory Technician for my entire career. Decorations include Meritorious Service Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Commendation Medal with 3 OLCs, Air Force Achievement Medal with 2 OLCs, Good Conduct Medal with 6 OLCs. Assignments included Wright-Patterson AFB, OH; US Air Force Academy, CO; Grissom AFB, IN; Hellenikon AB, Athens, Greece; RAF Alconbury/Upwood, England; Edwards AFB, CA; RAF Lakenheath, England. I retired in 1999.
