Hi classmates.
Dr. Fauci has predicted that there will be a COVID-19 resurgence in the fall and even though the medical community may be better prepared to handle it by then, avoiding flying, staying in hotels, or hanging out in big crowds (masks or not) is probably a smart precaution. That said, the Reunion Team met yesterday (via Zoom) and we all agreed that given the pandemic and its uncertain future, our 55th reunion will be postponed indefinitely. It’s disappointing to have to make such a determination, but better safe than sorry. And let’s face it, we’re all people “of a certain age” and in the high-risk population.
Maybe we’ll have a 56th reunion or a 57th reunion or maybe we’ll have a Zoom reunion at some point. In the meantime, stay healthy NCHS Class of ’65!!
