Benning, GA (1978-79), attended Air Defense Officer Basic Course and Nike-Hercules Officer Course, Ft. Bliss, TX (1979), Italian Language School, Presidio of Monterey (1979), served at Zelo and Monte Calvarina, Italy (1979-81), attended ADA Officer Advanced Course (1982), served at Logistics Center, Ft. lee, VA (1983-86), Combined Arms Staff Officer Course (CAS3) (1985), transferred to U.S. Army Reserve while attending law and graduate school (1986), served at Fort Story, VA and Bellwood Army Depot, VA (1986-89), Command and General Staff Officer Course (1988), transferred to Alaska National Guard, served at Kotzebue, AK and Ft.
