2011 Inductees BCABHOF

This year we added ten names to the
BRITISH COLUMBIA AMATEUR BOXING HALL OF FAME.

One with Nanaimo connections is ALAN BROWN,
previously in Campbell River, Gold Rver and Nanaimo.

NANAIMO BOXING CLUB

In 1971, two Alumni DAN WRIGHT (1967) and
BRIAN ZELLEY (1965) co-founded the 'Nanaimo Boxing Club".
- the club is still operating today in it's 40th year with the
coach being BARRY CRESWELL.

BRITISH COLUMBIA AMATEUR BOXING HALL OF FAME

Summer of 2010 - involved in creating and working on this
group from late June until today.

After two months during the selection and elimination process,
the core group will be comprised of 15 individuals with four having connection to Vancouver Island:
DALE WALTERS, EDDIE HADDAD, FRED DESROSIERS,
and RICK BROUGH.
