Aviation Electronics Tech. Flight crewman on various Navy aircraft. Events included Mercury Astronauts recoveries, Quemoy-Matsu (Taiwan), Vietnam, Russian invasion of Afghanistan, and the Iranian revolt. Managed maintenance requirements of 9 aircraft patrol squadron (VP-48). Served as electronic tech, flight crewman, command staff member, Command Master Chief for VP Squadrons and then retired after a eventful career in naval aviation. I started my military involvement in the Idaho National Air Guard in 1952 and continued from there.

I was a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy. I was Stationed At Cherry Pt NC Marine Corps Air Base in Havelock NC. I was attached to the third LAM unit and traveled all over the world with those fine men. I also recieved two commendations for valor in the line of duty.

Transferred to the Idaho Air National Guard for 30 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Liquid Fuels Maint.,and a Plumber. I had to be in the Air National Guard to work for the State of Idaho Military Division.I retired from the State after 26 years and retired from the National Guard after 34 years. I was able to travel to many different States and countries
