Captain James (Sides) Ellison
Class of 1992
Air Force, 13 Years
After enlisting in the Air Force after graduation in 1992 I was approached by my squadron commander who asked me if I had ever considered being an officer. I jumped at the opportunity and after completing my degree at Arizona State University I was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force. I have since deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom twice as well as numerous other overseas assignments. I recently completed my Masters of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and I currently live in Arizona.
