In Memory of

Margaret Ann Pilkington, 65, of Fort Gibson Ok passed away on Wednesday, April 29 2026. In Muskogee. She was born on June 20 1060 in Muskogee to Dr Ben and Bobbye (Campbell) Pilkington. Margaret graduated from high school and pursued higher education at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Over the years she lived in Muskogee, Honolulu and Las Vegas before making her home in Ft Gibson. Margaret dedicated 20 years of her career as an inspector for Owens Illinois Brockway. She attended Ft Gibson First United Methodist Church and found joy in her community and her many passions. She loved the beach., swimming and sharing meals with her closest friends and family. A proud Sooner fan she also enjoyed ghost tours and had a deep appreciation for history. Margaret loved traveling with her daughter, watching movies and K-dramas, listening to rock music---though she preferred not to singer herself. Her fondness for animals was evident in her love for horses dolphins, and especially her cherished cat. Margaret's greatest passion was spending time wither her family, creating memories filed with laughter. She had a special way of connecting with babies wherever she went and was known for her selfless spirit. Margaret gave the ultimate gift of a better life as an organ doner. Her warmth, humor, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Margaret is now reunited with her parents.
