| Favorite School Memory | I'm lucky to remember High School. I worked in the Used car business with Dad. I did drive a 1968 GTO to school. |
| About Me | In 1976 I moved to Eau Claire, WI and stayed in the used car business with my dad and brother. I got tired of that and joined the Navy. I became an electronic tech. and a nuclear reactor operator. I went to Nuke school in Orlando, Fl in 1981 then to Idaho for more Nuke school. I got stationed in Pearl Harbor, HI. I was on the USS Bremerton SSN 698.(fast attack Sub.) I married an Island girl and got out of the Navy in 1986. I went back to College on the government's dime. After I graduated I moved back to Florida. My wife didn't like the Winters in Wisconsin very much. I got a job in the control center of a small electric utility. In 1997 I got a job in the control center of Orlando Utility commission. So now I watch over the major electric transmission lines in central Florida and Generation facilities From Orlando to Key West. I am NERC certified so I can work anywhere in the United States and Canada. I have got 22 years in and I can retire at anytime.( I am thinking about it. Don't tell Thelma, ...(read more) |
