| About Me | After graduation, I went to UW-Madison where I roomed with Kelly Kokalj, whom I'm still good friends with today. We made lots of lifetime friends at college, had lots of fun times, and I met my husband, Mitch, in our Senior year. We fell in love, got engaged on our first anniversary, married right out of college in 2003 and settled in Sun Prairie (suburb of Madison). I graduated with a degree in Communication Arts and my husband is an actuary. He got a job first out of school at American Family Insurance so we luckily got to stay in the Madison area. We just love Madison and we were so happy to be able to stay. I had a tougher time finding a job, had side jobs while looking for something and then we decided to have a baby in 2005. I had a tough pregnancy and had to quit my job earlier than expected. (We had planned that I would stay at home full time with the kids) Our daughter, Maggie Grace, arrived a day after our second anniversary on September 14th, 2005. She's now 2 1/2 going on 16 and is our world. I love being a mom and being able to stay at home with her and see every good and bad moment. We try to get together whenever possible with Maggie's buddies--Baby Cole (Julie Joyce's little boy), Baby Jackson (Kelli Krakau's little boy) and Carter (Kerry Fridl's little boy).
