I enlisted in the AF while I was a senior at MHS. I signed up for 4 years and here I am already over 20! I work in the medical field and took two years out of medicine to work for the Inspector General and take care of high level congressional type of complaints! I have truly enjoyed the Air Force and have been able to live in so many different places~Alaska, Hawaii, Portugal, and Germany to name a few. My plan is to retire from the AF before my 40th birthday and get paid for the rest of my life while doing something else really fun!

I am currently the supervisor of a Flight Medicine Clinic and we take care of all aircrew medical needs. I have also worked as the Superintendent to the Inspector Gerenal at Ramstein Air Base, Germany (for 2 years). My husband Scott Windorf (class of 1986) is also in the AF and he is a First Sergeant for the 435th Munnitions Group at Ramstein. We have truly enjoyed serving our country for the last 20 years and seeing the world at the same time. What an experience!

Joe proudly served in Korea (twice) and Germany (twice) as a combat engineer mainly in demolitions. He was a drill instructor at Fort Leonardwood in the mid-eighties.His assignments also included Ft.Carson CO, Ft. Campbell KY, and FT. Dix NJ. He passed away in October 2011.
