About Me | Well I did it and really retired and hopefully I will stay that way. No more getting up early and rushing to a job. I am just focusing on spending as much time with my grandchildren and girls as possible. My daughter in law is my other daughter. I am almost 50 and divorced and had 2 babies (1 now deceased),the baby is 29. I guess that I have a boring life to most because I spend a lot of time just being at home. I like to cook, and like my home clean as well as my yard. I like doing yard work and planting flowers and trees. I like nice dogs and horses. I love the time with my grandchildren the most. It seems like I can't get enough of them. UPDATE: 2014 is here and so much has happened in such a short time and it really has been a few years. I celebrated my 54th birthday in September. My daughter has still not done anything about her engagement of about 6 years, I am ready to have her married to her man, I call Branden-son. My grand son has grown to a whopping 6'1" tall and he is only 14 . My grand daughter is still the most beautiful and sweetest girl in my world. I have grown closer with my parents and enjoy my time with them more and more every day. I like seeing my Aunt Nancy too, just not often enough. I lost my best friend to breast cancer and found 2 old best friends that I had lost track of for a while. Now they are rocks in my life every day in one way or another. I lost my baby brother this past Dec and I also lost my love Ronnie, one of the greatest guys in the world, 12 days after my brother. I had the best Christmas even though I was dealing with the death of my brother. My family Christmas was celebrated on the 21st and it was the most wonderful day that I have had in many years. Thanks to the joy of my grand kids enjoying being at grandma's instead of their friends for a change.( I-Pads make good presents for the teens of today). I took the big plunge and bought my almost new Chev SWB, single cab 4X4 Pick-up and am enjoying doing things to deck it out. So far I have tinted the windows and added super seat covers that have glow in the dark butterflies nice floor mats and lots of bling bling around the rear view mirror. I have flashing neon lights to install in the cab, not sure where to put them yet. I am in the market for a set of nice rims and already have my new tires. Got a new diamond plate tool box in the back and have nurf bar steps to get put on along with a remote start. I really need to slow down and spend more money on my home, I feel like a do over in it. I have painted all of the interior and am replacing all of the old decor and slowly going newer style after all of these years. Home Interiors is still beautiful decor, just so out of date. Now for the biggest event in my life: My relationship with God has gotten stronger and stronger over the years and I have suffered losses ...(read more) |
