He left behind his wife, Mary Barrett Jones of Havelock; two sons, Issac Barrett and Michael Barrett both of Havelock; two daughters, Andrea Miller and Michelle Barrett both of Raleigh; one sister, Julia Emily DeShields, Willingboro, New Jersey; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
