Mr. Joseph Henry Wineglass, 65, was born in Stuttgart, Germany on October 5, 1953 and was the son of the late Joseph and Evelyn Wells Wineglass. He departed this life at his home in Statesville on Friday, May 31, 2019, following an extended illness. He was a graduate of Murrell Dobbins High School in Philadelphia, Pa., and prior to his retirement was employed by Midas and a mechanic. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be truly missed. He hobbies included Motorcycles, fishing and guns. He leaves to remember the blessing of his life, two daughters, Marnie C. (Leroy) Wheeler of Darby, Pa and Jada Wineglass of Smyrna, Delaware; one sister, Dorothy Bedden of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; two grandchildren, Ashia Lee Wheeler and Michael Joseph Wheeler, both of Darby, Philadelphia; and a host of other relatives, neighbors and dear friends. In tears we saw you sinking, and watched you fade away Our hearts were almost broken, we wanted you to stay. But when we saw you sleeping, so peacefully and free from pain; How could we wish you back with us to suffer that again. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. Submitted with love by The Family
