Gary was a childhood neighbor and friend, He was the first to make outreach to me in 1963 when I was eight and bedridden with rheumatic fever when I first moved to his neighborhood in Murray, Utah. He also reached out to me when I moved back to Utah from San Francisco in 1989. He was a very good person.
