Favorite School Memory	My favorite high school memory is school integration in 1970 and attending the new Murfreesboro High School.
About Me	I taught school for 10 years and served as a school administrator for 19 years. I worked one year as the Director of a new charter school. I have served as president of the La Grange Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Directors. I also served on the Board of Directors of the Kinston-Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce. I currently serve on the Board of Directors of the La Grange Arts Council in La Grange, NC. Former member of the Greene Lamp Board of Directors in Kinston, NC. Currently serve on the NC Selective Service Board of Directors. I have served as the recording secretary of the Elizabeth City State University National Alumni Association where I am also a life-member. I am a life-member of the Kinston-Lenoir County NAACP. I have served as an adjunct instructor at Barton College and Wayne Community College.
