Remember Nick very well. He was a starter on MHS basketball teams and very personal to players on the frosh team. A left-hander, he played the right-side wing and had a nice, soft jump shot. Was very nice person at all times. His younger brother Bob, MHS Class of 1969, was also a very good player who I remember was very athletic and was particularly a good defensive player. Nick also was a starter on the football team, and during the summer months worked for USPS and delivered mail to my home near Carl Sandburg School. Nick's mother was a very friendly lady who I knew very well.
