About Me	"I have found that if you love life, life will love you back." Arthur Rubinstein I am generally a happy, positive person ... I have a great sense of humor and enjoy being with people who know the difference between a sense of humor and sarcasm ~ putting other's down with humor. I enjoy honesty, both from myself and others. I encourage my friends and children to tell me the truth about themselves and me. Their "mirroring" towards me teaches me my true self. I am passionate about life ~ I work hard/play hard/relax well. I enjoy eating out, but would rather have a simple meal at home and even when eating alone, I enjoy sitting at the table with quiet music and candles. I love the outdoors ~ gardening, walking, riding my bicycle, talking with neighbors, going to the park, playing on a playground, hiking in the mountains ~ especially if there is a waterfall somewhere to be found ~ walking the beach, riding a Sea Doo or a motorcycle, smelling fresh cut grass, running/playing in the rain or laying in a lawnchair all night watching falling stars. I love watching the birds (and squirrels at the numerous feeds within my yard) When I feel stress within my life, I question the thoughts that lead to the stress and look for the truth within myself and generally end up laughing at the situation and/or myself. I have no favorite season in life ~ right now, this moment, is my favorite time. I enjoy the process of life. I enjoy the coming up with ideas, the planning, the decisions, the implimentation and the completion ~ all of it is fun along the way. Other's say I have a unique view of life ~ I wouldn't know if it is unique for it is the view of the world I "see". I give God the credit ~ for He made me to be me ~ and He is teaching me who I am in each moment. I wouldn't descibe myself as a religious person ~ I do attend services sometimes ~ however, I am a spiritual being enjoying being me and being with God. My Home is sacred to me. I love quietness, funness, music (or not). I enjoy reading and sharing a good book. I enjoy the "friendship" of a cat ~ Mufasa ~ who adopted me over 13 years ago ~ she is still tiny ~ only 7 pounds ~ and quite unique as far as cats go ~ she comes to me when I call her (someone forgot to tell her that is a dog trait!) ~ she talks to me (just so funny) ~ and when my client's meet her, even those who don't like cats, they know that she is quite unique! Since I live in Williamsburg, VA, I enjoy the company of many College Students and riding my bike or walking on the Campus of William & Mary and through Colonial Williamsburg. I love watching people ~ so amusing and delightful. I am a dare devil ~ a risk taker ~ at least it seems that I am when I am with my son, Rich. For my 51st Birthday, Rich gave me a present of Sky Diving. Oh my ~ I still feel the freedom of that free fall ~ the moisture of the atmosphere on my skin ~ looking at my feet and wondering, for a moment, what were they ~ I felt so...(read more)
