| About Me | The Fjeldheim farmily lives on a farm just outside of Herreid, South Dakota! We are grain and cattle farmers living on the family farm. Herreid has all of our necessities pretty much but if you want to go visit a Walmart you would need to drive 100 miles either east or north. We find plenty of things to entertain ourselves such as 4 wheeler riding to check the cows in the spring/summer; checking the cows in the pastures; feeding milk to bottle calves; or just sitting on the front porch watching nature! We did live in Rockford where we could sit on the porch and look at our neighbors all around us but here we can barely see the tops of semis as they pass our drive half a mile down from us. We are secluded but have lots of wonderful friends and neighbors, too! Sorely miss family and friends though! We are so excited that Amber will be moving to Sioux Falls to teach Middle School Reading this fall! So much closer to us! Bethany is moving to Nashville, TN and making a great place for us to visit! She will be going to grad school to become a Nurse Practitioner/mid wifery. Seth is a senior this year and plans on going to Watertown for Mecha...(read more) |
