Fred was in the choir at First Commmunity Church on Salem Road. His father was the choir director, his mother was the choir pianist, his sister, Barbara, was also in the choir (youth choir at that time). Fred was also in the Explorer Scouts who went on a cross-country trip with our minister to the Seattle World's Fair in Summer 1962. I will always have fond memories of Fred and Barbara. I have no musical voice talent other than an appreciation for those who can perform -- on key, of course!
