John Albers
Class of 1975
Army, 20+ Years
Entered the Army in 1977 with Bill Allen. Served three years in Germany as a Combat Engineer before applying for and being accepted to Army Helicopter Flight School in 1981. Served as a UH-1H (Huey)helicopter pilot in Korea, Ft. Rucker, AL, and Alaska. Applied and accepted to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Nightstalkers) in 1991. Flew MH-47E (Darkhorse Chinooks) with the 160th until retiring in 1999.
