James is now in his third appointment as the Commanding Officer/Pastor of The Salvation Army Cleveland Hough Center for Worship & Service. He has served at the Homewood Corps in Pittsburgh, in his first appointment 8 years, 2nd appointment in Paterson New Jersey Corps for 2 years. James is a product of the Mt. Healthy High School. He also graduated from Cincinnati State College with a double major; An Associates in Applied Business, in Real Estate and Associates in Applied Business, in Property Management. James furthered his education at the Seminary in Suffern New York, The Salvation Army (S.F.O.T.) School for Officer's Training where he was ordained as a minister of the Gospel and commissioned of The Salvation Army, International Ministries. James has attended Geneva College of Beaver Fall, Pennsylvania in the DCP program "Community Ministry". James life constitution is to maintain a growing and increasingly intimate conversational relationship with God. Devote quality time to his wife Malinda of 12 years. And to his children Son David, Daughter Jamelia, two grandsons Tristen and Devon sharing his life with them and nurture their unique gifts, abilities, and interest.
