About Me	I was born in Juneau, Alaska and raised in Hoonah. The day after school was over, we migrated to Excursion Inlet and stayed there thru the months of October for fall fishing and putting up our subsistence foods. I graduated from Hoonah Public School in 1956 and went on to Mt. Edgecumbe High School, graduating in 1960. I remember leaving Hoonah on the good ole PBY, landing on the ramp in Sitka and later on the ramp at Mt. Edgecumbe. What excitement. I went to one year at Haskell Institute, before it became a Junior College. I married John in 1961 and we lived in Sitka until my mom Goldie got ill with cancer.
