Mr. Butler taught math att Wilton Academy until the early 1970's when Wilton merged with the current Mt. Blue High School. He loved teaching, trigonometry being his favorite subject, but not quite as much as he loved sports! During his career he coached baseball, softball, girls JV basketball, track & field, and his very favorite - golf! He was active in community service as a member of the Wilton's Lion Club and was most proud of participating in the winter special olympics at Sugarloaf Mtn. . Most of all, he was a dedicated husband of 51 yrs, father, and grandfather and is missed dearly by family and friends. .
