| About Me | Most of you know that I dated Corey Welch from the class of 87 all through high shcool. We did get engaged Feb. of 89. He is a wonderful person, but we both felt that after this decision was made, that going on an LDS mission would serve us both in the future. Corey left on a mission to Japan and I went to USU. I participated in the performing group "Hands Up" and had the opportunity to go to Japan, Korea, and Hawaii, singing, dancing and signing. I was studying Communicative Disorders and working full time at Logan Regional Hospital in Admitting. After reading letters from Corey, I too decided to serve a mission. I left in July of 91 and served in the Tucson Az. mission till Jan. of 93. I met an incredible Deputy Sheriff,Paramedic a couple of weeks before I left on my mission. We wrote a little and after returning in Jan. we got married in June of 93 in the Logan LDS Temple. We live in Layton and have 4 amazing children. Joshua is 13. He is an incredible student and athlete. The two of us just got back from China yesterday. He is learning Chinese at Syrcause Jr. High and loves it. Amorah is 11 and is just like her mother. Loves the arts and music. Isaiah is my tender 9 yr. old and is so smart and has the cutest dimples. Sariah is 8 and is a ball of fire. My husband worked at the Sheriff's office as a deputy/paramedic for 14yrs and as a flight paramedic at the U of U for 8 yrs. About 9 yrs. ago we had some changes in our family and he went to work for LDS Church Security. He now works as the Security Specialists over the Eastern half of the United States. He travels quite a bit, but loves his job. I was diagnosed with Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis after my oldest was born and that was why I switched my communicative disorder studies to that of health and healing. Our family loves to sing together, play the piano,camp together, play sports, go four wheeling and definately ski. Alan is on the ski patrol and the kids love it. Life has thrown us interesting challenges to help us grow. We are active in our faith and love to serve others. We find joy in the beauty around us and are very grateful for good friends and family. We take each day as it comes and our family motto for this year is "Communitcate in 2008" Part of why I got on this website. Take Care, all of you in the Class of 88.
