About Me	Pharmacy college then science research at U of Iowa, grad school Baylor College of Medicine and post-docs at University of Texas Medical School-Houston. Left research to return to Iowa, practice pharmacy and help care for mother-in-law. Became supervisor at St Luke's Hospital, then retired 12/2012. Married to a now-retired orchestra director in Cedar Rapids school district so get to accompany students for solo contests and follow his emeritus orchestra activities! Update 2019--my husband suffered a near fatal brain injury in 2018 and is still seriously disabled. Our daughter is living with us for now and we're trying to assemble tools and skill...(read more)
