About Me	Larry Vincent Buster received a B.F.A. in communication arts and design from Virginia Commonwealth University and an M.A. in advertising design from Syracuse University. His master’s thesis on black memorabilia was the groundwork for his book, "The Art and History of Black Memorabilia" which he wrote and designed. He received the 2001 Honor Book Award in nonfiction from the Black Caucus of the American Library Association.
