Favorite School Memory	1. I ran over eighty yards for a touch down against Central High School 2. A James Brown performance in the High School talent show. 3. The 11 sec. first period pin in a wrestling match against Huntingdon my Senior year, at Huntingdon HS.
About Me	Married my high school sweetheart, going on 43 yrs. now. We raised our two sons, Bernie Jr. and Nathan. We currently have three grandchildren whom I love spending time with and thank God everyday for my life. I served over twenty- five years with the State Police, and was awarded and received their highest honor for bravery while saving another officers life during a shoot out in 1987. I was at that time only the seventh State Police Officer to be awarded The Pa. State Police Medal of Honor. I retired from the State Police in 1998 and finished my higher education, at Elizabethtown College, with a BS in Criminal Justice, and MS Education, Curriculum Design. I wrote and created a program of Alternative Education for the Juniata School District and taught it for five years. I was the Director for Bethesda Day Treatment, Alternative Education Programming. I developed a curriculum for the Mifflin/Juniata Career & Technology Center, Police Science and Criminal Justice Program for 10th, 11th and 12th grades, I taught it for 5 yrars and then retired from public education. I now consult and advise students in careers, education and vocational development. I am a member of the Board of Directors for the NCAA Eastern Wrestling Official Association and President of the PIAA Rod Tate Wrestling Officials Association.
