| About Me | Began martial arts training at 11 years old in Judo. Continued formal training in wrestling (1969 - 1975) and Shito-Ryu Karate (!977-1993), from about 1975 until 1998 in-formal study of Wing Chun with Sifu and close friend , this included lots of free sparring with a variety of martial artists whose styles included; boxing, Hung Gar, Pak Wa, Tae Kwon Do, Shito-Ryu and Wing Chun 1976 - 1986 (Free Sparring with the Doggish Dudes). Enrolled at the Salle Saint George since 2009 studies include Italian Stick/Cane and Medieval Weapons. Retired from the Fire Department in 2009 after 29 years. 24 years as a fire officer, the last 10 years as a chief officer. Long time student of martial arts. Currently enrolled at the Salle St. George in Seattle. Started Starfighter-Art.com in 2009. Started Starfighter-Music in 2009. Married to Stacie Anne Starks.
