| Favorite School Memory | School was a blast. Great friends and great parties. Keggers on the Lake. Bonfires up in the hills on logging roads. Football Camp. Coach Ames and Alexander. Track & Field. Giving June Lagerquist fits in Bachelor Living (a student locked here in the supply closet for part of class and a student unlocked it when the bell rang and ran out of class). Flying a paper airplane and having it stick in the bun on top of the teachers head (Doris Windust), every day a student would break a pencil in the lock on her classroom door and she would have to have the smallest student climb through a window to unlock the door. Getting caught in the parking lot skipping class with Steve Cuthbert by Gordy Prehm and sweating in class all afternoon for the call to go to the principles office. Ski Club, Janis, Jodie, Shannon, Stephen, Dagamar, and the rest of the gang. Great skiing at Ski Acres, Alpental, and Snoqualmie Summit. Mr. Rene's class when a student slipped acid in his coffee and listening to him try to teach with a buzz before he left early. Gene Baumgardner's "Old Yeller". Playing bumper cars on the logging roads. Waking Ricky Rice up to go to a party. Rick Lenks van. DJ's white carpet that we had to take our shoes off or feel the wrath of his mom. Apple Blossom Festival and "Cop a Buzz". Party at the Old Wild West Park when the music could be heard 5 miles away and the stack of amps and speakers was eight feet high. playing Slide a Guzzle in the Saloon. Great times...(read more) |
| About Me | Grew up at Echo Lake, attended Snoqualmie Elementary, Mt Si High, and entered the Marine Corps in 1980. Attended Air Traffic Control School in Millington Tennessee, Worked Air Traffic control at: Tustin Ca., El Toro Ca, Kaneohe Hi., Camp Pendleton Ca., Feutenma Japan, Osaka Japan, Pohang Korea, Camp Pendleton Ca., taught Air Traffic Control at Pensacola Florida, was in charge of a tactical ATC Detachment at Yuma Az. retired from the Marine Corps in 2001. I now work as the Range Operations Officer at Camp Pendleton supporting Marine Aviation Training and Marine Ground Training. I manage the Restricted Airspace and work closely with the FAA.
