| About Me | I'm an a Floating Library Associate for King County Library. Joshua, ie Spud, or young Josh is in the navy still stationed back east and doing well. He doesn't come home often enough. We talk a lot thanks to Verizon/Verizon.......Ben's been back to see him in DC, but I'm starting to get the "mom thing" going. Need to just give him a real hug. Regardless, both Josh and I are really proud of him. Ben is still in Highschool and a really cool, nice young man. He's the tallest in the family at 18. Still figuring out what he wants to do as he gets older. He's learning guitar, and yes I'm predudiced, but he is doing well. He's got a good ear, a good heart, and the desire to play well. His take on a couple Neil Young song's have given me that angsty choke up that a good song/musician/mood can give you. He makes me smile when he plays "Comes a Time" and "Tangerine", I'm blessed both son's tend to give me a smile. I'm so proud of them. While Joshua is pretty set in the navy, Ben's still deciding on school for next year, probably LK WA voc tech, I know Ben's going to do well. Had some shakey times, but he's a good person and has the strength of character I know is going to make it. And Josh, is still Josh, a good nice man. He works hard, too hard, and these last few years have been hard for him, all of us. First his new hip, then the flood. We were blessed w/a lot of good friends, family, and strangers helping us. I am so thankful. What tomorrow brings, well hopefully the sun will still rise and we will get a chance to raise our fface to it for at least a moment or two. Be the best people we can and figure out what the day brings with as much grace and sense of humor as possible.
