About Elizabeth Graham "Libby" Seitz
Obituary

MANSFIELD: Elizabeth "Libby" Graham Seitz, age 51, of Mansfield and formerly of Mount Gilead, died Saturday evening, June 9, 2012, at the Ohio State University in Columbus following complications from a medical procedure.

On June 29, 1960, Libby was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky, the daughter of Mary (Powell) Graham and the late Paul Elliott Graham. As a family they moved to Mount Gilead for the Morrow County oil boom in 1963, where she graduated from Mount Gilead High School in the Class of 1978.

For the over the past 15 years, Libby has shared her life with her special companion, David Humphrey.

Having an "amazing green thumb", Libby had a knack for gardening and could somehow make something grow from nothing. She loved tending to her garden oasis that surrounded her entire house, planting something new every year. She even shared her extra flower buds with her family and friends, planting flowers for them without them even knowing. She also enjoyed making floral arrangements for all of her family's special occasions, and starting quilts for someone to someday enjoy.

Know for her spontaneity, Libby loved a good adventure and you never knew where her adventures would take you. Many of here shopping excursions have now become cherished family stories. And in the spirit of Libby's always entertaining and often random whims…"Hey look, there's a squirrel!"

"All about having fun", Libby made the most of any occasion! She especially enjoyed having fun and spoiling her precious grandbabies, going along with most anything they wanted to do.

Very proud to be a Graham and proud of her family, Libby was always there for them…even when they didn't realize it.

She will be dearly missed by her "husband", David Humphrey of Mansfield; her two children, Karrie Horlacher of Cardington, and her two children, Dylan and Evan; and Thomas Winchell of Massillon, and his two children, Gannon and October; her mother, Mary Graham of Mount Gilead; two brothers; and two sisters, Keith (Vivian) Graham of Marengo, Donna Marie (Rick) Manning of Pinch, West Virginia, Doug (June Gullett) Graham of Cardington, and Jannetta (Doug) Martin of Mount Gilead; and numerous dear nieces, nephews and friends.

Including her father, Libby was preceded in death by her former husband, Everett Seitz.

Libby's family will greet friends from 4 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel, 67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead. Services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the outdoor shelter of the V.F.W. Post 8054, 4960 St. Rt. 61, Mount Gilead, with Pastor Dale Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Rivercliff Cemetery in Mount Gilead. Following the services at the cemetery, all family and friends are invited back to the V.F.W. to share in a picnic in Libby's honor.

A note from her family…"Even though our hearts are saddened right now and planning her funeral way to soon I would like to ask everyone that is planning on coming to the funeral and if you own a motorcycle or a hot rod to please bring it. She loved both very much. Also for those of you who know my family this will be a Graham family tradition celebration of Libby's life. So that means come wearing what makes you happy. Come prepared to cry, laugh and hug. My family is a very fun loving family and we all are having a really hard time with this and we need you all now to help us remember the good times. Love to you all!!"

Rather than flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family, to help with unexpected expenses.
