About	Randy W. Franks, 53, of Baker Street, Mount Gilead, died Tuesday, December, 23, 2008, at his home. He was born on July 16, 1955, in Mount Gilead, to the late Raymond Eugene and Francis (Brow) Franks. Randy worked at SRI in the Telecommunications field and was a long time used car salesman. He was a member of the Nelson Campbell VFW Post 8054 and Amvets Post 87. Randy also was an avid Harley-Davidson rider. On September 16, 1977, Randy married his loving wife, the former Rose Trimmer,and she survives in Mount Gilead. Survivors also include two daughters, Keira and Kelly Franks of Mount Gilead; grandchildren, Kaliyah Franks and Kamryn Harris; and two brothers, Doug Franks of Galion and Charles Thomas “Tommy” Franks. Visitation was Saturday,December 27, 2008,with a memorial service at 1:00PM.
