Biography: Carol Ann Beach, age 72, passed away at home February 3, 2022. Carol was born to the late Roy and "Dee" (Stephens) Pate April 13, 1949 in Indiana. Carol is survived by husband of 27 years, Ed Beach. Carol is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Kay Pate.
Carol is survived by husband, Ed Beach; son, Roy E. Keckler Sr. (Terri); life-long friend, Clarence Keckler; sister, Anita "Jean" Robinson; grandchildren, Roy Edward Keckler Jr. and Nathan Miller as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Carol worked for Marca of Marion as an accountant for a number of years. After meeting Ed, they decided to buy Fairfield Supply so she could continue her accounting career there. She was very tech savvy; she could take a computer apart and put it back together. She enjoyed knitting and embroidery. She graduated Marion Tech with Summa Cum Laude and achieved a medal that was awarded from the business school. She loved her cats and dog very much and will be deeply missed.
Visiting hours are at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home Saturday February 12, from 2PM-4PM. There will be a service following visitation at 4PM. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com
