science teacher in Mounds View district died on April 4, 2012 after a 3 year battle with cancer. Bob taught in the Mounds View School District for 38 years. He was the 1974 MN Teacher of the Year and the 1975 National Teacher of the Year.

What a great science teacher Mr. Heyer was. He made learning fun and I still remember stuff I learned in his class. He will be missed.
